Understanding The Risk Assessment Platform
Introduction to RBA's Risk Assessment Platform
The Risk Assessment Platform is a powerful analytics tool designed specifically for members of the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) and the Responsible Minerals Initiative (RMI). This platform offers essential tools to help organizations effectively manage and reduce risks within their supply chains.
The Risk Assessment platform is the first tool for members in RBA's Risk-Based Due Diligence Model, which consists of a comprehensive 5-step program.
The first step involves Inherent Risk Screening using the Risk Assessment Platform. This is followed by gathering site-specific data through the Self-Assessment Questionnaire (SAQ).
The third step involves independent third-party assessments via the Validated Assessment Program (VAP). Any confirmed issues are then addressed through Corrective Action.
Finally, Training and Capacity Building are implemented to ensure long-term compliance and improvement. |
