How to access the RBA's Chemical Platform?
This guidance articles provides step-by-step instructions on how RBA member companies and their suppliers that have an RBA-Online subscription may access the RBA's Chemical Platform. Although the Chemical Platform is a separate online system from RBA-Online, it is fully integrated with RBA-Online through roundtrip APIs to leverage existing company, facility, and trading relationship data in RBA-Online as a foundation for collecting data in the Chemical Platform. To access and use the web-based Chemical Platform, you must first have an active RBA-Online user account with the ‘Chemical Platform Admin’ role assigned.
Step 1: Assign Chemical Platform Admin role to RBA-Online users
The process for assigning the ‘Chemical Platform Admin’ role to your RBA-Online user accounts depends on your organization's membership status:

Step 2: Add RBA-Online Facilities and Users to Chemical Platform
RBA-Online users may add their facilities, supplier facilities, and users to the Chemical Platform in the ‘Chemical Platform’ dropdown menu within RBA-Online, which becomes available to users when the ‘Chemical Platform Admin’ role is assigned to them.
Adding Owned Facilities
- In the ‘Chemical Platform’ menu, select ‘My Facilities’.

Select the ‘+Add Facilities’ button to open the ‘Add Facilities window where you may add your organization's active RBA-Online facilities and users (including yourself) to the Chemical Platform.
- Select all facilities that you wish to add to the Chemical Platform in the check box at the left of the table.
- For each selected facility, select all users that you wish to have access to it in the Chemical Platform under the ‘Users’ column on the right of the table.
- Click the ‘Confirm’ button. RBA-Online will process the request and confirm that the selected facilities and users were added.


Adding Supplier Facilities
- In the ‘Chemical Platform menu, select ‘Supplier Facilities’.

Select the ‘+Add Facilities’ button to open the ‘Add Facilities’ window where you may add your organization's RBA-Online supplier facilities that have established trading relationships to the Chemical Platform.
- Select all supplier facilities that you wish to add to the Chemical Platform.
- For each selected facility, select all users that you wish to have access to it in the Chemical Platform under the ‘Users’ column on the right of the table.
- Click the ‘Confirm’ button. RBA-Online will process the request and confirm that the selected facilities and users were added


- In the ‘Chemical Platform’ menu, select ‘My Requests’ to view and manage Chemical Platform requests from your customers.

Respond to each customer request by selecting the ‘Options’ button and then ‘Respond’ to open the ‘Respond’ window where you may either accept or reject the request.
- Accept customer requests for each organization (facility or company) by selecting ‘Accept’ in the ‘Response’ column and then selecting all users that you wish to have access to it in the Chemical Platform in the ‘Users’ column.
- Reject customer requests for each organization (facility or company) by selecting ‘Reject’ in the ‘Response’ column and then adding a note in the ‘Comment’ column to explain why you are rejecting the customer request.
- Select the ‘Confirm’ button to open the ‘Confirmation’ window.
- Select the ‘Yes’ button to confirm your responses and acknowledge that your Chemical Platform data will be shared with your customers that you've accepted requests from. RBA-Online will process the request and confirm that the customer requests where responded to.

Step 3: Login to the Chemical Platform
After adding your organization's RBA-Online facilities, supplier facilities, and users to the Chemical Platform and managing customer requests in the steps above, you may access the Chemical Platform at https://www.my-aip.com/rba/login.
- Check your email inbox for the email sent from RBA-Online that provides instructions on how to set up your Chemical Platform password. Your Chemical Platform username will be your email address.

- Access the Chemical Platform at https://www.my-aip.com/rba/login.

Getting started in the Chemical Platform
After accessing the Chemical Platform, you may begin data collection, risk analysis, and reporting on annual chemical usage data by generating Facility Risk Scorecards for your facilities. Please reference the following guidance article, ‘How to generate Facility Risk Scorecards?’
