How RBA Online Works Hand-in-Hand with the Chemical Platform

RBA-Online communicates with the Chemical Platform to provision user accounts, provision company accounts, handle member visibility and receive chemical risk data points.

More specifically, RBA-Online allows for Member Companies onboard their own facilities to the Chemical Platform, invite their Supplier facilities to report on and share their Chemical Data via the Chemical Platform, and view high level chemical risk data from directly within RBA-Online. Supplier Companies have the ability to manage Chemical Platform access invites and set visibility on chemical risk data for their customers. This is all supported by API communication between RBA-Online and the Chemical Platform for account provisioning and chemical risk data population.

Chemical Platform Roles

  • Chemical Platform Admin
    • This role applies to Supplier Company Admins and Member Company Admins.
      • Member Company Admins are granted this role directly by RBA staff.
      • Supplier Company Admins will be granted this role when one of their owned facilities receives a Chemical Platform access invitation and they have accepted the request.
    • Users with this role can assign and remove Company Admins from their company the “Chemical Platform Admin Role” via the User Manager.
  • Chemical Platform User
    • This role indicates that the user has access to the Chemical Platform to submit data for their facility (or facilities) assigned but doesn't have any special permissions in RBA-Online.
      • This role must be assigned by a Chemical Platform Admin

Supplier Facilities

The Supplier Facilities listing view page lists all supplier facilities that a Member has invited to the Chemical Platform, including name, request status, respondent email, and Facility Risk Scorecard Rating.

Upon confirmation, their Trading Relationship with the Member is updated accordingly and the request status becomes “Accepted”.
