Overview

RBA Online may make different Self-Assessment Questionnaires (SAQs) available depending on your organization's role, relationship to customers, and account configuration. If you're unsure which SAQ to complete, use the guidance below.

Facility Risk SAQ

Complete the Facility Risk SAQ if:

• You are assessing a specific manufacturing site, facility, warehouse, or operational location.
• Your customer has requested a facility-level assessment.
• You are preparing for a VAP assessment.
• You have access to the My SAQs > Facility menu within RBA Online. 

Why?

The Facility Risk SAQ evaluates responsible business practices at an individual facility, including labor, health and safety, environment, ethics, and management systems. 

Corporate SAQ

Complete the Corporate SAQ if:

• You are reporting information that applies across your entire company.
• You are a Company Administrator.
• Your organization has been assigned a Corporate SAQ in RBA Online.

RBA Online may request that every company complete a Corporate SAQ. 

Why?

The Corporate SAQ focuses on company-wide policies, governance, management systems, and responsible business practices. 

Indirect SAQ

Complete the Indirect SAQ if:

• Your company does not operate manufacturing facilities that require a Facility Risk SAQ.
• You provide services, software, consulting, logistics, distribution, or other indirect goods and services.
• A customer has specifically requested an Indirect SAQ through RBA Online.

Why?

The Indirect SAQ is designed for organizations that support supply chains but are not being assessed as manufacturing facilities. It allows customers to gather responsible business information from indirect suppliers using a questionnaire that is tailored to the nature of their business.

How Do I Know Which SAQ Has Been Assigned to Me?

The easiest way to determine which SAQ you need to complete is to log into RBA Online and review the questionnaires available in your account.

Why Can't I See Last Year's SAQ?

This is a common question.

You may not see the same SAQ each year because:

• New SAQ versions are released periodically. 
• Your customer's requirements may have changed.
• Your organization's role may have changed.
• You may be viewing a different facility or company record.
• Your user permissions may have changed. 

If a newer SAQ version is available, users should generally complete the most current questionnaire assigned to them. 

Frequently Asked Questions

I completed a Facility SAQ last year. Do I complete the same one this year?

Not necessarily. Review the SAQs assigned in your account. Your customer may request a newer version or a different assessment type.

I am an indirect supplier. Should I complete a Facility Risk SAQ?

Generally, indirect suppliers complete an Indirect SAQ when one has been assigned. However, customer requirements may vary.

Can I complete more than one SAQ?

Yes. Some organizations may have both company-level and facility-level assessment requirements depending on their business structure and customer requests.

I still don't know which SAQ to complete.
