How to Navigate the Chemical Platform as a Company Admin User
Once logged into the Chemical Platform, as a Company Admin User, you will see five tabs on your home page, pictured below.

The Supply Chain tab displays your company information, company Users, and Supply Chain Facilities. Your Supply Chain Facilities include your owned/operated facilities and supplier facilities with established trading relationships in RBA-Online, along with overall risk ratings for facilities that have completed Facility Risk Scorecards.
The Supply Chain Facilities view helps quickly identify facilities that may be more chemical-intensive and may have relatively higher chemical management risks.

The Chemical Inventory tab displays a comprehensive listing of chemical products within the chemical inventories of your owned/operated facilities only. By design, it does not include chemical inventories of your supplier facilities. For full visibility of your company's chemical inventory, ensure that all of your owned/operated facilities are included in the Supply Chain Facilities view of the Supply Chain tab.
For each chemical product included in your facilities' chemical inventories, this view provides the Chemical Product Name, the unique Chemical Product ID (PDID), the unique Safety Data Sheet ID (SDS ID), the status of alignment with GHS (GHS), the Chemical Hazard Rating (Hazard Rating), the total quantity consumed (Total KG), and the total number of uses (Total Use Count). The search bar may be used to search for any chemical products based on the associated information listed. Chemical inventories may be exported and downloaded in Microsoft Excel® XSLX format by clicking “Export” in the top right corner of this view.

In the Chemical Screening tab you may screen your company's chemical inventory against various Chemical Lists to identify chemicals of concern and assess conformance with regulatory requirements and voluntary initiatives (e.g., regulatorily controlled substances, eco-labels, company-specific material restriction, safer chemical lists, etc.). Chemical Lists may be added to the Chemical Platform by any Company Admin user, and added Chemical Lists are visible to all Chemical Platform users.
To create a new Chemical List:
- Click “+ Add Chemical List”
- Specify the Chemical List name and type (negative or positive) and click “Save”
To continue creating a new or to update an existing Chemical List:
- Click on the Chemical List to open the Chemical List view
- Click “Import" and then download the Chemical List template
- Populate the Chemical List template with CAS registry numbers for each chemical substance
- Click “Upload” to finish creating or to update the Chemical List
- All CAS numbers are verified against PubChem, and some chemical substances may be associated with multiple CAS numbers
- From the Import view, users may download the log file to review any errors

The Risk Scorecards tab simplifies and streamlines assessment of chemical management risks by consolidating them into a single Facility Risk Rating for each facility's product lines. You have the options to receive a scorecard for Supply Chain Risk, Facility Risk, Company Risk, or a Custom Facility Risk. All risk scorecards are available in PDF form.
Supply Chain Risk Scorecard
- This scorecard provides your company's overall chemical management risk rating by analyzing all facilities in your supply chain (both owned/operated and supplier facilities).
Facility Risk Scorecard
- This scorecard provides the chemical management risk rating for a specific facility that your company owns or operates, giving you insight into the individual site's risk.
Company Risk Scorecard
- This scorecard provides your overall chemical management risk rating based on the facilities your company owns or operates, helping you assess the overall company-level risk.
Custom Facility Risk Scorecard
- This scorecard provides an overall chemical management risk rating based on the selected product lines of your company's owned and operated facilities.
The Reports tab provides a detailed report of the overall chemical hazard rating for your company, as well as for all owned and operated facilities.
These reports include different organizations, your facilities, products, and details about each product's risk rating. Additionally, you can identify whether a chemical is flagged by an MRSL here.

The “Filter” option allows for you to choose which parameters you would like the report to include. These options include Companies, Facilities, Material Restrictions, and Chemical Roles.
The “Download Excel” option gives you the ability to access all the data compiled in the report in an .xlsx format.
