How to Reset the EMT Account Password once Access Has Been Granted

After your organization and users have been added to the Emissions Management Tool (EMT) — either by accepting a customer request or by an admin adding facilities directly — each user will receive an email with instructions to set up their EMT password. This article explains how to complete that setup and what to do if you need to reset your password later.

Setting Up Your Password for the First Time

  1. Check the email inbox associated with your RBA-Online user account. Look for an email from RBA-Online with the subject line containing instructions for setting up your EMT password.
  2. Follow the instructions in the email to create your EMT account password. Your EMT username is your email address.

Once your password is set, navigate to the EMT login page:

EMT Login: https://www.my-aip.com/rba/login

  1. Enter your email address and the password you just created to log in.

Note: The EMT is a separate platform from RBA-Online and requires its own password. Your RBA-Online password cannot be used to log in to the EMT.

If You Did Not Receive the Setup Email

  • Check your spam or junk mail folder for an email from RBA-Online.
  • Confirm that your user account has the EMT Admin role assigned in RBA-Online. Without this role, a setup email will not be generated.
  • If your account has the EMT Admin role and you still have not received the email, contact the RBA Help Desk for assistance.

Resetting a Forgotten Password

If you have already set up your EMT account but have forgotten your password, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the EMT login page at https://www.my-aip.com/rba/login
  2. Click the "Forgot Password" link on the login screen.
  3. Enter the email address associated with your EMT account (this is your RBA-Online email address).
  4. Check your inbox for a password reset email and follow the instructions provided.
  5. Once reset, return to the EMT login page and sign in with your email address and new password.

Note: If you do not receive the password reset email within a few minutes, check your spam folder. If you continue to experience issues, contact the RBA Help Desk.
