Password Reset Troubleshooting: Quick Access Guide

A step-by-step guide to safely resolving password reset challenges and regaining access to your account through systematic troubleshooting techniques.

If you can't log in to your RBA Online account and are having trouble with your password, this guide will help you troubleshoot and regain access to your account.

Verify Email Address

Confirm you're using the correct email address associated with your account. Even a small typo can prevent password reset emails from reaching you.

Ensure Your New Password Meets the Requirements

  • Minimum length: 8 characters
  • Must include at least 1 numerical character (0-9)
  • Must include at least 2 alphabetical characters (a-z), and 1 character must be uppercase (A-Z)
  • These special characters are NOT allowed: < > ? @ !

NOTE: Accounts provisioned for API access must adhere to these same requirements!

Check Spam and Junk Folders

Password reset emails are sometimes filtered into spam or junk folders. Please thoroughly search these folders to ensure you haven't missed the reset communication.

Use Official Password Reset Channel

Navigate directly to the official password reset page through the platform's help center. Avoid clicking links from emails and instead type the password reset URL manually to ensure security.

Important Security Tip: Never share your password reset link or provide account credentials to anyone claiming to be support staff.

If you've completed these steps and cannot access your account, the next best action is to contact the RBA Help Desk, either via the “Contact Us” form here in the knowledge base, or by emailing helpdesk@responsiblebusiness.org. They can provide personalized assistance and help you regain account access safely and efficiently.
