How to Mitigate the "User Already Exists in the System" Error

Pre-requisite: User administration can be completed by users with company admin rights or an RBA staff with admin privileges.

This error indicates that the email address entered for the user is already registered in RBA Online. Since RBA Online uses email addresses as unique identifiers, an email can only be associated with one organization.

Steps to Resolve:

Create a Ticket: Contact the RBA Help Desk at HelpDesk@responsiblebusiness.org with the subject "Request to migrate user."

Include the User: Ensure the user is included in the conversation for awareness.

Provide Necessary Details:

  • Destination company
  • User rights to assign

Help Desk Action: The Help Desk will process the ticket and complete the migration request.
