How to Respond to a Supply Chain Mapping Survey Request

If you've received a request to complete a Supply Chain Mapping Survey from a member of the (RBA), this guide will help you respond effectively. Usually, these requests come from an RBA member with whom you have a Trading Relationship in the RBA Online system.

Step 1: Log into RBA Online

1. Access the RBA Online portal using your credentials.
2. Navigate to your "To-Do" page, where you will find a notification regarding the Supply Chain Mapping Survey request.

Step 2: Review the Survey Request


1. Click on the notification to open the survey request.
2. You will be directed to a page where you can choose to:
  - Accept the request by selecting "Manage Suppliers."
  - Reject the request by selecting "Reject."

Step 3: Accepting the Survey Request


If you choose to accept the request:
1. Click on "Manage Suppliers."


2. You will be taken to a new page with three options for providing supplier data:
  - Download Excel: Download a template to fill out and upload later.
  - Upload via Excel: Use a pre-prepared Excel sheet.
  - Manual Add: Enter the information directly into the system.

For this guide, we will focus on the Manual Add method.

 Using the Manual Add Option


1. Select "Manual Add" from the available options.
2. Complete all required fields on the page. These typically include:
  - Supplier name
  - Address
  - Contact information
  - Other relevant details


3. Once all fields are completed, click "OK" to submit your data.

Step 4: Rejecting the Survey Request

If you decide to reject the survey request:
1. Select "Reject" on the notification page.


2. A pop-up will appear asking you to provide a reason for rejecting the request.


3. Enter a clear and concise reason, then click "Yes" to finalize the rejection.
