Responsible Business Transparency Protocol (RBTP)
What is the Responsible Business Transparency Protocol (RBTP)?

The Responsible Business Transparency Protocol (RBTP) is a standardized data protocol for sharing verifiable, portable data on facilities, products, and RBA/RMI assessments, enabling companies to more readily verify and integrate data across different platforms and tools.
By using RBTP, you can create secure digital records that link verified claims about your facilities and products, and respond more quickly to customer information requests while retaining control over what information is shared and with whom.
RBTP is an industry-specific extension of the United Nations Transparency Protocol (UNTP), adapted to meet the particular needs of the electronics, automotive, and related sectors. Both RBTP and UNTP are open-source data protocols, meaning their technical specifications are freely available, can be implemented across any existing software or systems, and are not controlled by any single platform or vendor.

How do I make an RBTP Digital Facility Record?
A Responsible Business Transparency Protocol (RBTP) Digital Facility Record is a verifiable and portable credential that carries facility-related information for entities involved in supply chain operations, such as factories, warehouses, or processing plants. Issued as W3C Verifiable Credentials, Digital Facility Records provide essential data, including location, operational details, certifications, assessment information, and sustainability metrics, to enhance transparency and compliance in B2B transactions.

What is an RBTP Digital Conformity Credential? (Assessments in RBTP)
