Prerequisites
Before assigning a major supplier, ensure the following conditions are met:
- Both Parties Registered: Both your company and the supplier must be registered in RBA Online.
- Active Subscription: Both parties must have an active RBA Online subscription.
- Trading Relationship Established: A trading relationship must be established between your organization and the supplier within the platform.
Steps to Assign a Major Supplier

Log into RBA Online: Use your account credentials to access the RBA Online portal.
2. Navigate to the Supply Chain Section: From the dashboard, click on "Supply Chain" in the main menu.
3. Go to Trading Relationships: In the Supply Chain menu, select "Trading Relationships" to view your connected suppliers.
4. Find the Supplier: Scroll through the list or use the search bar to locate the supplier you wish to update.
5. Edit Supplier Details: Click on "Options" next to the supplier’s name and select "Edit" from the dropdown menu.
6. Select the “Major Supplier” Checkbox: In the edit window, find the “Major Supplier” checkbox and select it.
7. Save Changes: Click "Save" to update the supplier's status.

- Confirm Status: After saving, you can refresh the page to confirm that the supplier is marked as a major supplier.
- Permissions: Ensure you have the necessary permissions to edit supplier details.
- Updating Relationships: If the trading relationship isn’t established yet, you must send a connection request to the supplier in Trading Relationships before assigning them as a major supplier.
