Indirect SAQ

The Indirect SAQ is now available as a survey for RBA Members to deploy to supplier’s facilities in RBA-Online.

A supplier is considered a member’s major Indirect Spend supplier if the supplier is defined as “Major” by their internal process, which must include risk to human rights, OR:

  • Ranked in member’s top 80 percent of indirect suppliers by indirect spending, AND
  • Contracted to provide service or material not intended for a member’s finished goods

Any service provider that is not directly involved in the manufacturing of an end product would be a candidate for the Indirect SAQ. Examples include security guard provider, waste disposal, cafeteria operators, cleaning services, landscapers, or safety equipment providers.

The Indirect SAQ is available as a survey for RBA Members to deploy to supplier’s facilities registered in RBA-Online. In order to deploy a survey, the supplier must first be registered in RBA-Online and have a trading relationship established with their customer.

RBA Members in the Regular or Full category are required to complete an SAQ on 100% of major indirect spend suppliers which have been identified as high-risk by the Member’s risk assessment. The Indirect Spend SAQ has been developed as a tool to assist Member’s in meeting this requirement.
