Deploying a Customer Managed Audit (CMA) for a supplier in RBA Online is an important step in evaluating and ensuring compliance within the supply chain. This function is available only to RBA Members with Company Admin rights and requires an established trading relationship with the supplier before initiating the audit. 

This article provides a step-by-step guide on how to deploy a CMA effectively.

Prerequisites

Before initiating a CMA, ensure you meet the following requirements:

- You are an RBA Member with Company Admin rights.
- Your company has an existing trading relationship with the supplier.
- The necessary audit type (Initial or Closure) is determined prior to deployment.

Steps to Deploy a CMA to a Supplier

1. Log into RBA Online: Access the RBA Online Portal and enter your login credentials.

2. Navigate to Supplier CMAs: In the top navigation menu, click on "Audit", then select "Supplier CMAs" from the dropdown options.

3. Initiate a New CMA Audit: Click on the "Initiate CMA Audit" button displayed on the screen.

4. Enter Supplier Details: In the "Company Name" field, type the supplier's name. Use the "Facility Name" dropdown to select the facility that will undergo the CMA.

5. Select Audit Type: Choose the appropriate Audit Type from the dropdown menu:
    - Initial Audit – Used for new audit assessments.
    - Closure Audit – Conducted to verify corrective actions post-initial audit.

6. Initiate the CMA: Click on "Initiate" to finalize the process. The RBA Online platform will notify the supplier about the CMA request.

Additional Notes

Once initiated, the supplier will receive an automated notification prompting them to take the necessary actions. RBA Members can monitor the status of deployed CMAs through the Audit dashboard in RBA Online.
